Five students from 2030 accidentally find themselves traveling through the past after a dispute between their teacher. They are assigned to challenge the curriculum during black history month by gathering information on overshadowed and misinterpreted black historical figures. With the help of one girl’s aunt they are given a rundown, handmade contraption of a clock that grants them the ability to move through the space time continuum with just the palm of their hand. But, they have a time limit and when the clock runs out they could be stuck in whatever time period they venture to. They are on a journey of self-discovery and are tasked to bring back all the information they acquire for class the next day. Seeing the stories through their own eyes, changes their perspective on the lessons they learned.
